Mr. Christopher Alan Bowick

Husband, Daddy, Pawpaw, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend. Chris was a man of many titles and he did each one to the best of his ability! He was perfectly imperfect. Chris had a huge heart and loved with everything in him. Chris was a very patient man and would give you anything he had. While he was a man of very few words you somehow always knew exactly what he was thinking. If you knew Chris, you knew he loved his family and his only wish was for them to be happy. Chris was born on Wednesday, June 25, 1975 and quickly traded in his earthly body for his home in Heaven on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Chris was 48 years young. In July of 2018, Chris married Wendy Moore and their two families became one. They spent the last five years making as many memories as they could. You never saw one without the other. There was never any doubt how much they loved each other. Chris was a faithful and dedicated five year employee of Endurance Equipment in Irvington, AL. Chris enjoyed his work and his work family. Chris was preceded in death by his dad, Terry Alan Bowick, his Paternal Grandparents Herman and Helen Bowick, his Maternal Grandparents Merida and Virginia Stearns, special Aunt Nita Stearns, and one grandbaby. Along with many other family and friends. Chris leaves behind his wife Wendy, their children Christopher (Savanna), Justin, Brandi (Henry), Kyle (Montana), Tyler, J.C., Ella, Braxton, David (Brianna), and Jonathan, six Grandchildren Caroline, Benjamin, Aubreigh, Henry, Rylee, and Hadley, his Momma Denise Bowick, his Sisters Kelly (Tommy) Oakley, Jennifer Bowick (Chris), and Kristina Simmons, his Brother Chris (Brooke) Sasser, Nephews and Nieces Tommy Jr, Savannah, Tommy III, Liam, Charlee, Terry, Crystal, Ariel, Brayden, Thomas, Zackery, Tiffany, Phoenix, Christian, Davany, Kelsey, Oliver, Bailey, Maci, Cheyenne, Colton, Thomas, Katherine, Waylon, Lauren, Slayden, and Grayson, Extended family James (Ruth) Moore, Jamie (Mac) McKeough, and Don (Eden) Moore. Throughout life Chris was blessed with “extras”. He cherished every one of those extra kiddo’s and friends that became family. Our family has suffered an enormous loss but we will do what Chris taught us & pull together. We will be there for each other and survive. We will hold a Celebration of Life for Chris on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00pm. The Celebration will be held in the Gym of Moffett Road Baptist Church, located at the corner of Moffett and Howells Ferry Roads in Mobile, AL. There will be food and fellowship immediately following the services. Chris was an avid Auburn fan and believed everyone should be comfortable. In his honor the family is requesting that guests wear an Orange/Blue Shirt or a Tank top along with jeans. “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18
