Darline Michelle Breland Baker Born 4/23/1970, Mobile, AL Passed away Saturday 18, 2021 She is preceded in death by both grandparents. AF and Earnestine Breland of Wade, MS, Robert and Ellie Vee Filbert of Theodore, AL, brother, Darren Ray Breland of Mobile, AL, and her beloved furbaby Spooky. She is survived by her husband, Royce Baker of Irvington, AL, daughter, Holly McKillip of Chandler, AZ, son, Logan Anchondo of Irvington, AL, mother, Barbara F Vickery of Theodore, AL, brothers, Douglas "Chuck" Breland of Theodore, AL, Patrick Breland of Pensacola, FL, Keith Breland(fi Mercy) of Pueblo, Co, Andrew "Andy" Vickery(Krissy) of Chunchula, AL and other cherished family and friends. Michelle graduated from Peter F. Alba High School in 1989 and joined the US Army in 1992. She served 3 years in the military as a mechanic stationed in Fort Knox, KY. For the past 16 years, Michelle has worked for Cowin Equipment Co. in Mobile, AL. She served as a Service Admin. Asst. for many years before being promoted in October 2019 to their Corporate Warranty Manager position. Michelle could light up anyone's day with her smile and her jokes. Her rambunctious laughter could fill a room. You couldn’t help but laugh when she did. She was always willing to help anyone in need, she would give the shirt off her back. She was also the Queen of Halloween. She designed and built haunted houses. Too many to count. Each better than the last. She had the best “haunted porch” in the neighborhood on Halloween night. She was a movie buff and Horror was at the top of her list. She had many other interests and was always up for a good adventure. She loved a good road trip with family and friends. She loved to visit old cemeteries for her genealogy research. Michelle was very artistic with a vivid imagination. It showed in everything she created from drawings to crafts. She collected all things vintage and loved Japanese decor. She was one with the Force, a Jedi at heart. Huge Star Wars fan! She loved her family, friends and her cats (Baby, Willow and Spooky). She was one of a kind and will be dearly missed. Celebration of her life will be held at the Coastal Response Center in Coden, AL.
