Mrs Jacqueline Ruth Racine

Jacqueline Wyatt Racine departed this earth to be with her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2026 while being held by her family. Born on October 13, 1951 in Brownsville, Tennessee, Jackie eventually moved to Mobile, Alabama. She attended Davidson High School (Class of 1969) and met the love of her life Joe Racine. They began a beautiful and full life together when they married in 1972. Jackie lived a life full of love, faith, compassion and devotion to her family. She made every person she came into contact with feel welcome, loved, and like they were the most important person in the world. Those who knew her will always remember her humor, her generosity, her infectious laugh, and her deep love for her family and friends. Jackie’s gift was just sitting and talking with people. She has sat with so many friends and family members during sicknesses or heartaches. She just loved them, talked with them, made them laugh, and gave them her full attention and care. She did this because she wanted to be there for her friend, but also she wanted to give the caregiver a break to step away. This was her sweet gift from God that she used oh so well. Jackie would tell everyone her greatest joy was her devoted husband, her two girls and her 5 grandchildren. Every grandchild thought they were Gigi’s favorite because she had that special relationship with each one of them, so they truly believed it. She and her granddaughters loved to get together and do their fingernails with her endless supply of fingernail polishes, teach them to knit or sew, and take them shopping, Her grandsons loved to come over and sit and watch movies or shows with their Gigi and Pawaw, they would go with them to their river house to fish, and Gigi was proud to show off those pictures of the fish they caught. What beautiful memories she leaves with us all. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Wyatt and Helen Wyatt, her sisters Amy Spafford, and Valerie Stacey. She is survived by her husband Joe Racine, two daughters Jennifer Richardson (Josh), and Jana Odom (Chris), five grandchildren Hayden Richardson, Racine Richardson, Wyatt Odom, Emme Richardson, and Leighton Odom, her brother Jimmy Wyatt and wife Laurie, cousins, nieces, nephews, and oh so many friends. We will celebrate this beautiful Life at Dayspring Baptist Church Monday, January 196. The family will receive visitors at 10 AM with the service to follow at 11 AM.
