Mrs. Linda Susan Wilson

Linda “Susie” Susan Wilson, 59, of Mobile, Alabama passed on in her home-state on January 17, 2025. She was born in Mobile in 1965 to Nolan Hatton and Linda Hatton. Nolan was a floor mechanic and Linda worked as a Hostess. Susie had two sisters Debra “Debbie” Monitel and Angela Comer. Susie attended B.C. Rain High School and completed 9th Grade. Susie lost her father Nolan Hatton on October 6th, 2017. She met her beloved and outstanding husband in 1989 and they later married in 1996. Terral Wilson cared, loved and devoted all of himself to/for her even in her last days. Their love is so rare and unconditional that those who got to witness it could only pray to have. She had her oldest son, Anthony D. Ward, in June of 1988. And she had her youngest son, Patrick G. Ward, in October of 1991. She went on to work as a cook and cashier for Tides Inn when Anthony and Patrick were very little. She also worked at Tboys as a deli-cook from 2015-2017. Her last employment was working alongside her best friend of many years, Mrs. Millie, accompanying her in lawn care. Her work ethic was impeccable. And more often than not; many tasks that most would find challenging came with such ease to her. She put her utmost pride, dignity and self-worth into her work. She loved gardening, frogs, fishing, crocheting and baking. As well as many other talents and hobbies. She had one of the best green thumbs. As well as a soul bright enough to light up any room or occasion. She had one of the biggest and warmest smiles and laughter. She was filled with a vast range of knowledge of a vast variety of things. There is nothing this woman couldn’t or wouldn’t do especially once she had her mind made up on something. To say having met her is one of the greatest blessings in this lifetime is abundantly understated. She brought an open heart, kindness, love, comfort, joy, knowledge, strength, passion, and empathy to every person she touched in her lifetime. Momma was just that; Momma. She was a warrior of a woman and battled so many battles that most could not have faced in several lifetimes. She was preceded in death by her father Nolan Hatton. Susie is survived by her loving and devoted husband Terral Wilson. Her mother Linda Hatton. Her sisters Debra Montiel and Angela Comer. Her son Anthony D. Ward, Granddaughter Addison Ward, Granddaughter Lillian Ward, and Grandson Anthony “Bubba” Ward. Her son Patrick G. Ward, Daughter-In-Law Darion Broadhead, Granddaughter Annastasia Ward and Granddaughter Alena Ward. Her Sister-In-Laws Jewel “Sis” Herring and Delesia “Lisa” West. Her Brother-In-Law Daniel “Dano” Sheldt. Her Nieces Brittany, Marie, Carra, April, Jennifer, Crystal “Nikki”, Tosha, Destiny, Ireland and Cambria. Her Nephews Thomas, Matthew, Noah, Tristan and Kylo. As well as her Great Nieces and Great Nephews. And her lifelong best friend for over thirty years Bj Phelps aka Honey Bee. And many more family and friends. Psalm 10:17 “Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble; thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt thine ear to hear.” Psalm 23:1-3 “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Proverbs 31:31 “Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” We will be having her Celebration of Life Ceremony on February 22, 2025 at 12:00pm located at Bellingrath Road Baptist Church at 10827 Bellingrath Rd Theodore, Al 36582.
