Timothy Earl Mosley Sr. "TIGER TIM" Timothy Earl "Tiger Tim" Mosley Sr., 61, of Mobile, AL, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 8, 2024. Tim was many things in his life, including, a boxer, jockey, and a first-class painter. He was also a dreamer, thrill-seeker and prankster, but above all, a believer in Jesus. Known for living life, being a protector to all he loved and a boxing legend, he was the life of the party and cherished his family and faith. He knew where he was going and would often talk about the Pearly Gates and walking down the streets of gold to Paradise. Tim always knew that this world was not his home. He was always excited when talking about being with Jesus. Timothy, also known as "Tiger Tim" to friends and family, was a professional boxer who fought in Las Vegas, Nevada, and on ESPN. Following his boxing career, he joined the family business and excelled as a first-class painter. He also hosted a Christian radio program on WMOB. Preaching the word of God was something he had a gift for and always done well. He raised his children with the same beliefs and loved to watch and video them doing praise and worship dances. In his teens, he enjoyed football, horse racing, and boxing with his father and brother. He was a lifelong fan of Alabama football and wore the attire regularly and proudly. He is survived by his mother, Winifred Pendarvis (CD) Housdan; wife, Karen Hartley Mosley; children Dana L (Shelby) Mosley, Sandi M (Chris) Doss, Timothy Earl Mosley III, Sara L (Zachary) Lambert and Braxton Mosley; brother, Teddy Mosley; sisters Tonya (Rocky) Kimpel and Toni (Ricky) Wharton; 12 grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Mosley, grandfather Clinton (Poppy) Pendarvis, grandmother, Dorothy Turner (Mama Dot) Pendarvis, Aunt Joy Pendarvis, and nephew Craig Wilson. "Tiger Tim" worshipped anywhere and everywhere, often attending tent revivals. He loved Benny Hinn and adamantly believed in the gift of laying hands and the healing power of the Lord. He loved spending time with his grandkids who would excitedly yell "Tiger Paw" when they saw him and run towards him to see what he was going to do this time and of course, get a piece of gum or candy. He will be forever loved and missed. Wake and services will be held Monday, May 20th, 2024 at Theodore Church of God, 6360 Theodore Dawes Rd, Theodore, AL. The wake will be from 12-1 pm with service to follow. Graveside services will be held immediately afterward at Oddfellows Cemetery, 12450 Irvington Bayou La Batre Hwy, Bayou La Batre, AL 36509. Cottage Hill Memorial Funeral Home in Mobile, AL is assisting with arrangements. Flowers may be sent to Theodore Church of God.
