Mr William "Stump" Brian New

Long Live William "Stump" New William Brian New, a beloved son, brother, and devoted friend, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in Mobile Al at the age of 21 due to a motorcycle accident. William, known all as Brian, brought boundless energy, unwavering loyalty and a trademark sense of humor to his family and community in Mobile where he resided. Brian lived life at full throttle defined by his quick wit and his genuine, enormous heart. He was known as the resident prankster always ready with a joke or a playful scheme to make those around him laugh. Beneath the humor was a young man full of kindness and deep devotion, who consistently prioritized helping everyone he met. His greatest passions were hands on and high energy. For years, he channeled his mechanical aptitude into his truck, constantly rebuilding his speaker box to perfect the sound. When he traded his truck for his motorcycle it quickly became his next project. Brian loved the process of taking the bike completely apart so that his parents and buddies could join him in painting and rebuilding it- a true testament to how he turned every project into a collaborative, family affair. When he wasn't riding or wrenching, he could always be found gaming with his friends on his PS5 or spending time with his girlfriend Savantha. Brian proudly graduated from Baker High School in 2023. Although his original plans to become a Marine changed direction, he found fulfillment in his late job at Tuff Shed a place he frequently told his mother he genuinely enjoyed. Brian was preceded in death by his Grandfather, William Earl New; his Great Grandparents, Isaac "Buck" and Lillian Lambeth; and his Uncle's Joshua Brian New and Jason Jones. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his loving Mother Leslie New; his Father "Zack" New; his Brothers CJ Foster and Colin New; his Sister Bella New; Grandmothers, Susan New and Janice Sanders; Aunt Stephanie Bennett; Cousins Bindi, Nixi, Tyler, Cole and Hunter. Brian also leaves behind his Girlfriend Savantha Floyd and MANY MANY more friends who became the family he chose.
