Ms. Deantha Claudette Mosley Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Deantha (Deana) C. Mosley, 62, died unexpectedly due to covid-19 on August 17,2021, at a Mobile hospital.She was born August 4,1959, in Mobile,Al. The daughter of Winston Mosley and the late Sue Hawkins Chapman. Deana graduated from Theodore High School, class of 1977. Following graduation she completed the CNA program and was employed by Springhill Memorial and Saad Home Health Care. Deana was also an avid animal lover that made sure every stray animal she came across had a good meal. She was a big collector of Coca Cola memorabilia and anything nautical. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Jack Hawkins and Jane Hawkins Weiss, paternal grandparents Jepp and Lillian Mosley and stepparent Dorothy J Mosley. She is survived by her sisters Donna (Glenn) Eddins, Daphine (Jason) Rojeski; two nieces and a nephew , Lauren (DJ) Mangham, Brock(Samantha) Eddins, Makenzie Rojeski; two great nieces and two great nephews Aiden and Aspen Mangham, Abby Eddins,Ryan Smith,her best friend Beverly Gurganus and along with aunts, uncles,cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA in memory of Deana. Memorial service will be held August 25,2021 at Woodridge Baptist Church at 2700 Schillinger Rd S, Mobile, AL 36695. Memorial service from 10-12 and food and fellowship immediately following.
