Sharon Ann Durham Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sharon Ann Durham (Sheri), 70, of Saraland, Al., a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2022, at Sadd’s Hospice in Mobile, Al. surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 3, 1951, in Enid, Oklahoma, and moved to Alabama in 1980, where she spent the rest of her days. Sheri is survived by her father Hubert Barnes; two daughters, Shelly (Randy) Osborne and Christina Knowles; son Thomas (Crystal) Druse; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter; brother Kenny (Angea) Barnes, David (Laure)Curry, and Billy Barnes. She is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Land and step-mother Geraldine Barnes. Sheri lived her life for her children, grandchildren, and her dogs. She enjoyed spending her time showing support for the various sports and activities her grandchildren were involved with. To know her was to love her. She loved to talk, never met a stranger, had the most vibrant smile that would light up a room. She loved her family dearly and reminded us often. There will be a small Celebration of Life for immediate family members only. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to a local animal shelter.
