Mrs. Mary Ann Parker

Mary Ann Parker, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend was born October 3, 1952 to the late Wilbert Robinson Sr. and Mable (Eatman) Robinson in Mobile AL. Mary Ann fell asleep in death peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. On June 15, 1964, she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. In her later years she had the privilege of serving as a regular pioneer for six years. She found joy spending countless hours in the ministry and sharing Bible truths to all she came in contact with. Mary Ann loved to travel and dance to the beat of music. She would be ready to go when someone called. She valued all of friends, many who would call her “PARKER”. She spent time supporting the Vietnamese group in her congregation, where she was affectionately called “Thu”. Mary Ann attended Toulminville High School and was a proud graduate of the Class of 1971. On May 6, 1982 she married the love of her life, Carlos Parker and gained six sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law. She was affectionately referred to as “Granny” by her grandchildren. She loved and supported her twin sister, Diann very much. The two of them were inseparable. They supported one another physically and spiritually. Mary Ann was employed with Mobile Infirmary Hospital as a Dietician Assistant. After twenty-six years of dedicated service she retired in 2015. She was one the most selfless individuals and always putting others before herself. Making sure others were doing okay brought her peace. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Carlos Parker, Sr.; and two sisters: Constance Bernard and Brenda Davis. Mary Ann leaves to cherish her precious memories, one son, Derrick Robinson, Sr.; one daughter, Fallon (Carlos) Parker; five grandchildren: Akyra Robinson, Michael “Mike” McKinnis, Jr., Derrick Robinson, Jr., Carllon Parker and Darnell Robinson all of Mobile, AL; two brothers: Calvin Patterson and Wilbert (Patricia) Robinson, Jr.; seven sisters: Elsie (Johnny) Law, Diann (Michael) Young, Deborah (Bernard) Roberts, Barbra (Alphonse) Peters, Patricia (Lester) Kelly, Joyce Robinson and Jacqueline (Danny) Drew; and a host of nieces, nephews (she had a few nephews whom she treated as her own), cousins whom she loves very much, other relatives and friends.
